Soy valiente e inteligente
Soy valiente e inteligente.

To Kill A Mockingbird By Harper Lee
I wrote a poem about the book to kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee. Everything starts in a small town, the main characters are Atticus and Jem. Atticus is confronted with a case of a black man and a white girl. This case is delicate because the black man is being accused of raping the white girl. Atticus struggles throughout this. My poem is about the character of Jem and the way he feels about his father. His father Atticus, impacts the way Jem grows into a grown man and matures as he learns. I am brave and smart I wonder if my dad will win the trial I hear my town being against him and I see my dad struggling with the trial I want to help him but I don’t know how. But I have to remember that I am brave and smart. I pretend to be the man ,but truthly I’m just a kid I feel bad for my father, I want to help him, but when I touch him him I can feel a big bag of sand on his shoulders I worry about him I worry he’ll give up. I cry every night hoping his bag will just go away And I feel the need to show that I am brave and smart I understand that he is struggling through this so I tell myself that my father will win the trial But sometimes it just feels like a dream. I try to be strong for my younger sister I hope my dad will win the trial because I want to show that I am brave and smart. |
